New Custom Home Build: Three phases

Whether it’s a new addition, a few cosmetic changes, or a home or commercial property built from scratch, your newly completed home project should be treated with the care it deserves. Let STW Cleaning give your new space a little TLC, so you have a welcoming, comfortable environment to move into. Our new build/ construction clean-up is typically completed in phases, as follows:

Phase 1:

1. Remove and discard all floor protective coverings. Dry sweep debris inside rooms with a broom and pick up and put in trash bag. Sweep front porch, walkway, and garage. Dry sweep storage room in basement.
2. Dry wipe/vacuum dust on all surfaces including vents; inside floor vents; doors; baseboards; light fixtures; vacuum floors and all areas; vacuum inside showers and remove all writing and remaining stickers on glass; remove any remaining plastic off counters/floors. Remove debris inside all cabinets. In kitchen, top of kitchen cabinets.
3. Interior windows and window sill removing any debris and dust.

Wet clean all rooms/ all floors, counters.

4. Leave plastic on appliances (to be removed at phase III)

Phase 2:

1. Shoe covers to be worn at all times.
2. Dry wipe/vacuum dust on all surfaces including vents; inside floor vents; doors; baseboards; vacuum floors and all areas; vacuum inside showers and remove all writing and remaining stickers on glass; remove any remaining plastic off counters/floors. Remove debris inside all cabinets. In kitchen, top of kitchen cabinets.
3. Wet clean all rooms/ all floors, counters

Phase 3: Final clean

1. Remove all plastic on remaining appliances.
2. Make all dust and debris is gone.
3. Final sweep of garage, porch, and walkway.
4. Custom home builds can be adjusted to accommodate their needs…not all companies need all three phases. This is just a basic format. Pricing is based on square footage.
5. Renovation cleaning is pretty much the same, but limited to the areas effected with the dust.
